Benevolence
“I do not believe one can settle how much we ought to give. I am afraid the only safe rule is to give more than we can spare.” – C.S. Lewis
The Illinois Truck Enforcement Association is taking a pro-active role to market and publicize charity and benevolent fundraising events sponsored by member employers, co-workers, or associations. The economic climate of our nation has brought on a spirit of fraternal and cooperative sharing to address the financial needs of those less fortunate. Traditional fundraising events usually do not have the resources to launch cost-effective internet advertising without taking from the funds meant to help the ones in need. Please browse through the fundraising events listed below and see if you can help somewhere. If you are interested in having your event promoted on the ITEA website, please read our policy statement and contact us by clicking HERE.

The Danger of HB0397
Take a good look at the vehicle pictured above. We need trucks and loads like this to build our communities. What we don’t need is the State of Illinois making decisions about which local roads vehicles like this travel on. If HB0397 were to pass, the biggest and heaviest vehicles will be routed through our local neighborhoods and downtowns with no local oversight.

Does the online IDOT permit system integrate with online local permit systems?Yes! One goal of the 2016 CMAP study was for IDOT to integrate with local permitting systems. IDOT and Oxcart Permit Systems have completed two phases of this integration, resulting in a “first of its kind” service not seen before in the United States. This ongoing integration is the leading national example of a public-private partnership in OSOW permitting between state and local governments.
